Designing a Corporate Retreat Narrative at Andaz Mayakoba
Andaz Mayakoba partnered with RetreatsAndVenues during the Creative Founder’s tenure as Chief Marketing Officer to create a cinematic partnership film that uncovered the experience behind the walls of the resort — translating its quiet luxury and nature immersed design into a compelling corporate retreat narrative.
While the property is widely recognized for its refined hospitality and secluded setting just outside Playa del Carmen, the opportunity was to showcase what makes it uniquely powerful for leadership gatherings. Arriving by complimentary boat, biking through jungle pathways, transitioning between lagoon style pools, and gathering in open air spaces — the experience unfolds as a sanctuary designed to slow teams down and reconnect them with focus.
Our role was to document and structure that journey intentionally. Rather than highlight amenities in isolation, we crafted a story arc that showed how a corporate retreat could move through the property — from arrival to activation to restoration. The result was a partnership film designed not just to showcase Andaz Mayakoba, but to position it as an environment where alignment, creativity, and leadership conversations can happen differently.
