Perkins + Will Design firm was engaged to design Miller Titerle + Co’s new head office in Vancouver B.C. In this episode, Markus Brown, as the design lead, uncovers the process behind designing one of the most unique and dynamic law firm offices for its sector. The office eliminates the need of private offices, has a Tiki bar lounge and a bold contrasting palette that makes a statement. Their brand identity inspired by a trail blazing add campaign formed the concept and motto for this office project called “buck the status quo.” With that subject line as a motto, you can only imagine how progressive and edgy this law office design came to be. Markus gives the run down on his team’s approach to design, their methodology and decision making process.
