Inspiring employees to go back to the office, Ep.4

Guest: Jay Arvind, Westbank Corp.

Westbank Head Office

Westbank’s visionaries teamed up to design a ‘home away from home’ for their workplace. Situated in the Shaw tower with Vancouver’s spectacular landscape views, this office design pulls you in due to its unique curb appeal and prestigious design effect. The reception area makes a bold statement representative of Westbank’s brand and culture of making an impression. This office’s comfortable and residential feel had their team working from the office throughout most of the pandemic as the environment inspired them to make the commute. Thoughtfulness and strategic thinking went into the lighting design and personal touches to make this workplace feel like home.

Like celebrity homes and villas, this office comes with unexpected surprises and depth in meaning. The palette and design aesthetic are inspired by couture design and vintage fashion driven from Ian Gillespie’s passion for arts and culture. Mirrored surfaces to enhance the reflections of the landscape, backlit onyx, LED panels to advertise the evolution of their work- these were all thoughtfully curated to create a dynamic and thrilling office experience.
